Update on Shopping Trip for July 1 - Unexpected Nivea deal!

Today was a good day!

I was able to get everything I set out to purchase and then had some unexpected surprises as well!

From CVS I purchased:

2 Pantene @ 2/$6.50
1 Tide @ 5.97
1 Olay Regenerist @ $18.99  Don't forget to print your new rebate form here for Olay if you purchase it!
2 Oral-B Power Toothbrushes @ $4.99 each
1 Nice and Easy Hair Color Foam @ $7.99
1 Tom of Maine Deodorant @ $3.19 (used a rain-check from a couple of weeks ago)
1 Cortaid Maximum Strength Itch Cream @ $5.79
6 Diet Coke @ .79 each

Total before coupons = 58.16

Used:
$3.00 off 2/Pantene
$1.00 off Tide
$3.00 off Olay Regenerist

$5.00 off 2/Oral B Power Toothbrushes
$3.00 off Nice and Easy Foam
$2.50 off Toms of Maine
$5.79 (FREE) Cortaid printed out from the CVS Red Machine TODAY (A nice surprise!)
$1.50 my quarterly EB reward
$4.00 EB from previous trip

My out of pocket was $36.83 much more than I usually pay out of pocket.

I got back one $10.00 gas card, $1.00 EB from the Tom's of Maine, $2.00 from the toothbrushes, and $2.00 from the Nice & Easy foam.

I ended up back at CVS (had to rent a movie for my youngest at RedBox).
On that trip I purchased 4 of the Nivea Tins at 99 cents a piece.  I used 4 EB from earlier and no oop.  Received $8.00 in EB back.  I liked that little money maker!  There were still a few tins left, but they were thinning out!

At the end of the day I have 9 EB left to use later and a of course the $10 gas card.  I saved 59.53...
All in all a good trip!

My out of pocket (oop) was 6.99 with tax and I received $4.00 RR to use for my next trip.  Total savings at Walgreens was $14.53.
