Saving My Wilder Way - Week of July 15 Planned Shopping Trip

Well, I have been all around the world and back it seems over the last few days and I did not get the chance to actually PLAN a shopping trip for this week yet!

I did run to Walgreen's and CVS late last night and scored a few good deals though so I thought I would share those with you and when I get a chance I will come back and add what I plan to buy for the rest of the week!

CVS

The coupon machine at CVS was good to me last night!  When I scanned my card a got a ton of new coupons for it.  The best one was for a free bottle of Complete (12 oz) or RevitaLens (10 oz).  There are two contact users in our household and so free saline is always great. I am not sure what I did to deserve this but I have been taught not to look a gift horse in the mouth!

So I purchased:

I paid $5.31 our of pocket and received back .75 ECB for the Unreal bar and 4 ECB  for the Nature Made!    Not too bad for a spur of the moment trip.

There is a coupon for the RevitaLens that is available as a printable but I am not sure that CVS would let you use it with the free coupon printed at the machine.  I didn't have it with me (but you can get it here) at the time so I couldn't try it.  If you do, let me know how it works for you. 

Walgreen's

At Walgreen's I had a $4.00 RR reward that was expiring which prompted my whole trip "to town" in the first place.

I purchased:

I paid $3.48 out of pocket and received 4 RR for the Listerine and 1 RR for the Water.   I also received an additional 1 RR for the water but I understand that this has been corrected and is only printing one now.

All my kiddo's have been away doing summer stuff this week and I have discovered two things.  I have a lot less laundry when they are gone and I need a lot less food in my house!  

Despite this, I headed to Kroger and Target today to pick up a few things and while I was out I discovered Glade products are on close out at Target. I hear Walmart also has some on clearance.

Update on Shopping Trip for July 1 - Unexpected Nivea deal!

Today was a good day!

I was able to get everything I set out to purchase and then had some unexpected surprises as well!

From CVS I purchased:

I got back one $10.00 gas card, $1.00 EB from the Tom's of Maine, $2.00 from the toothbrushes, and $2.00 from the Nice & Easy foam.

I ended up back at CVS (had to rent a movie for my youngest at RedBox).
On that trip I purchased 4 of the Nivea Tins at 99 cents a piece.  I used 4 EB from earlier and no oop.  Received $8.00 in EB back.  I liked that little money maker!  There were still a few tins left, but they were thinning out!

At the end of the day I have 9 EB left to use later and a of course the $10 gas card.  I saved 59.53...
All in all a good trip!

There are always new, good coupons that come out the first of the month and this month is no exception!  Don't miss out because the best usually go fast!

Below are a few I will be printing out for myself.

During the summer we grill a bunch!  The kiddos got my hubby a new grill for Father's Day and he has been making good use of it!  We will for sure be using plenty of propane over the summer so the AmeriGas Cylinder exchange is a must!  Oh and if we are going to be outside grilling, might as well take care of those pesky weeds while we are at it!

 There are also a few B1G1 deals that I usually print out to keep on hand to match with a sale that may come along.

And really, who can't use more hand soap!
